I created this site because so many working adults were being discouraged by the investment of time college advisors told them was involved in getting a bachelors degree. Through my own research and work I compiled this information. I used every method here to earn college credit myself so it is personally tested. I found that college advisors only had one answer for me, “pay us and take a lot of classes”. I could not accept that a lifetime of knowledge was not worth anything toward my degree. I was not without skills, knowledge and training and yet I was told to take introductory courses. One of the largest expenses in our lifetime is a college degree. It is also the one investment that pays us back the most in our career. Many working adults have the knowledge and background that are taught as part of a degree program. The advice here can show you how to prove it to the college. Once you start you will see this goal is completely attainable. Your next job interview will include you stating “I will be completing my bachelors degree in the next few months”. The subject of educational background will not be one to avoid in the workplace. Your resume will be taken much more seriously by hiring managers that know what it takes to get a degree. |
